Book Review & Giveaway—Take Me, Cowboy (A Copper Ridge Novel) by Maisey Yates

This is one of those books with which I have a love/hate relationship. Before you think me too harsh, I will get to the hate part first and get it out of the way. Hate is rather a strong word, I must admit. The only thing I could find wrong with this book is that I didn’t want to do anything but read, read, read, and nothing else! It made me want to push my own book’s deadline back a day or two! Take Me Cowboy sucked me in from the first page and had me riveted until the end—that’s the love part.

Anna and Chase are two broken people who have been friends for years. Because of a bet, something in their dynamic changes and things get hot. Really hot! The tension and confusion (and the lust) kept me turning the pages.

I loved Anna. A self-sufficient woman in the practical sense, she has a career outside the norm that I found wonderfully fresh. And Chase has a down and dirty career too.

Take Me Cowboy is an easy read and would be perfect for that afternoon on the couch or in the hammock.

I will definitely be returning to Copper Ridge for a visit! Thank you, Maisey Yates, for a great getaway!
